Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of baabum, including our website, mobile apps, account features, card search tools, collection tools, listings, local discovery, chats, and related services.
By using baabum, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use baabum.
About baabum
baabum helps collectors search card market data, manage collections, create trade or sale listings, discover approximate nearby opportunities, and chat with other collectors.
baabum is not a grading company, authentication company, escrow provider, payment processor, shipping carrier, legal advisor, tax advisor, or financial advisor. Values, comps, listings, and conversations are informational and user-generated or provider-derived signals.
Accounts and eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may not use baabum if you are barred from using the service under applicable law.
- Users who are not old enough to safely arrange trades must not arrange in-person meetups without a parent or guardian.
- baabum may restrict marketplace, chat, or meetup-related features based on age, safety, account status, abuse risk, or legal requirements.
Card data, comps, and values
baabum may show card identities, sold comps, active asking signals, user-entered values, and listing prices. These are separate signals and may not represent the exact value of your card.
You are responsible for confirming card identity, year, manufacturer, set, number, variant, condition, grade, autograph, relic, serial numbering, and any other material details before relying on a value or making an offer.
- Sold comps are historical sale observations when available from approved providers.
- Active asking prices are not sold comps and do not prove market value.
- User-entered values and listing prices are the collector's own statements.
- baabum may use caching, normalization, exclusions, confidence scores, and currency conversion, but errors can happen.
Listings, trades, and user responsibility
Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality, condition, ownership, pricing, images, and availability of their listings and collection cards.
baabum does not own user-listed cards, does not guarantee that any card is authentic, and does not guarantee that a trade or sale will be completed.
- Do not list cards you do not own or have authority to trade or sell.
- Do not misrepresent condition, grade, variant, autograph, relic, serial number, authenticity, ownership, shipping terms, or price.
- Do not use baabum to sell illegal, stolen, counterfeit, infringing, unsafe, or prohibited items.
- Comply with all applicable laws, taxes, platform rules, shipping rules, and payment rules.
Safety and meetups
Trading cards with people you meet online carries risk. Users are responsible for their own safety decisions.
If you meet in person, choose a public location, consider monitored community exchange spots where available, avoid bringing unnecessary cash, use traceable electronic payment methods where appropriate, and do not share private addresses or sensitive information until you are comfortable.
Chats and user content
You keep ownership of the content you upload or submit, but you grant baabum a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, moderate, transmit, and use that content as needed to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for messages, photos, profile information, listings, collection content, and other content you submit.
- Do not upload private, adult, exploitative, hateful, harassing, threatening, violent, misleading, infringing, or unrelated content.
- Do not share photos of children or teens unless the image is clearly part of a collectible card or drawing and allowed by the feature.
- Do not spam, scrape, manipulate, reverse engineer, bypass limits, or interfere with baabum systems.
- baabum may remove content, restrict accounts, preserve evidence, or report activity when we believe it is necessary for safety, compliance, or enforcement.
Payments and premium features
Some baabum features may require payment or subscription. Paid features, prices, quotas, billing periods, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and taxes will be described at purchase time and may also be governed by Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat, or another payment provider.
Safety, report, block, and core privacy controls should remain available without a premium plan.
Third-party services
baabum may integrate with third-party services such as authentication providers, maps, databases, hosting, storage, payment providers, email providers, image moderation providers, card data providers, currency conversion providers, and marketplace data providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. baabum is not responsible for third-party service interruptions, data errors, pricing errors, or policy changes.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
baabum is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or available in every location.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, baabum and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost value, failed trades, fraudulent users, inaccurate card data, or unsafe meetup decisions.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, limits, plans, or availability. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, abuse the service, or violate applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of baabum after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
